PCIe Gen4 x8 adapter with ReDriver
This Innocard add-in card converts a PCIe x8 Gen4 slot into a Gen-Z 2C EDSFF connection. It includes a ReDriver to extend eight-lane signal integrity and a 100 MHz clock buffer for longer traces. The board is designed and made in Taiwan and targets server or industrial deployments.
Check slot width and management needs
Verify the host system provides a PCIe x8 Gen4 slot and that the chassis can accommodate an EDSFF 2C module with latch connector. The card exposes SMBus addresses 0x21 and 0x6C for power-disable and BMC management, plus PERST0#, PERST1#, WAKE# and CLKREQ# translators for out-of-band control. A 12 V hot-plug supply with eFuse protection is built in.
Suits integrators needing Gen-Z 2C over PCIe
This adapter suits engineers extending Gen4 links to remote EDSFF storage or accelerators in server and industrial environments. It is not for desktop users who need consumer M.2 or U.2 connectivity, nor for builds lacking BMC or SMBus infrastructure to manage the side-band signals.

Questions about this item
Does the card ship with any cables or brackets, or must they be purchased separately?
The product is supplied as the add-in card only; cables, brackets and mounting hardware are not included and must be sourced separately.
Which PCIe lane width and generation does this adapter support?
It provides a PCIe x8 Gen 4 connection with an on-board ReDriver to maintain signal integrity across the link.
What does the 100 MHz clock buffer do for the installed system?
The buffer drives the reference clock over longer traces and cables, keeping timing margins within PCIe 4.0 CEM limits for the x8 link.
