Ultra-Sleek Low Profile

The InnoGear LP98 boom arm sits just 3.35 inches above the desk, freeing valuable surface area for streamers, podcasters and home-office users who need a compact microphone mount. Its alloy-steel frame supports up to 1.5 kg, accommodating popular dynamic and condenser microphones without a bulky footprint.

Silent Operation, Minimal Power

No motors or fans are present, so the arm adds zero acoustic noise and draws no electrical power. The powder-coated steel construction eliminates creaking during normal repositioning, while the integrated magnetic cable channel keeps XLR or USB wires organised and out of sight.

Stable Under Continuous Load

The 1.678 kg steel body and 2.4 lb weighted base resist sag during long recording sessions, maintaining the set angle through 360° base rotation, 180° swivel, 170° tilt and 360° shaft rotation. Quick-release clamp and snap-seal cable cover allow fast adjustments without loosening the mic position over time.

Questions about this item

How do I install the LP98 boom arm and which step do people often miss?

Clamp the base to the desk, insert the arm into the mount, then tighten the knob fully; the step users skip is securing that knob, which leaves the arm loose.

What maintenance will the LP98 need later?

Periodically check the clamp and knob for tightness, wipe the powder-coated alloy steel with a dry cloth, and keep the magnetic cable channel free of dust so the snap-seal closes cleanly.

What is the first limit I will hit during a long session with the LP98?

The 1.5 kg payload ceiling; exceeding it makes the joints sag before any other part shows strain.
