Privacy filter for 24" 16:9 screens

The Innovera Black-Out Privacy Filter fits 24 inch widescreen LCD monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses micro-louver technology to narrow the viewing angle so on-screen data is visible only to someone seated directly in front. Side views appear black, protecting confidential information in open offices or shared spaces. The frameless design overlays the monitor surface for a built-in look.

Glare reduction and surface protection

The filter cuts glare and increases contrast for more comfortable viewing during long sessions. It also shields the delicate monitor surface from scratches and everyday wear. No power or active cooling is involved, so the accessory adds no noise or heat to the workstation. It simply rests on the screen without changing the monitor's own thermals or power draw.

Frameless overlay installation

The frameless construction lets the filter sit flush against the display for a clean appearance. No bundled software or extra mounting hardware is included; the unit relies on a precise fit over the 24 inch panel. Buyers who need adhesive tabs, a sliding track or a removable hinge mechanism will not find those in this package.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the frameless filter to a 24" 16:9 monitor without a frame?

The frameless filter overlays the monitor surface directly for a built-in look; the step people miss is cleaning the screen thoroughly first so dust does not trap air bubbles under the filter.

What upkeep does the micro-louver surface need over time?

Wipe the filter gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust; avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive pads that can damage the micro-louver layer and reduce the narrow viewing angle.

At what viewing angle does the blackout effect stop blocking side views?

The micro-louver technology creates a narrow viewing angle so the image is visible only directly in front; beyond that angle the screen appears black to side viewers.
