Compatible Black Toner 10000 Pages

This Innovera IVR83042 toner cartridge replaces HP 42A Q5942A supplies for LaserJet 4240, 4250 and 4350 series printers. It delivers approximately ten thousand pages at five percent coverage and ships new in a single-cartridge pack. The compatible formulation is manufactured and tested to match the print quality and yield of the original HP cartridge.

Fits HP LaserJet 4240 4250 4350 Series

Offices running the listed HP LaserJet models can use this cartridge to reduce per-page cost without changing workflow. Buyers who need colour output, higher-capacity cartridges, or supplies for printers outside the 4240, 4250 and 4350 families should look at other SKUs. The product is a direct mechanical and electrical replacement for the Q5942A unit.

10000 Page Yield at 5% Coverage

The declared yield of ten thousand pages at five percent coverage is the key figure for planning toner budgets and replacement intervals. Actual output will vary with page content, print density settings and environmental conditions. Verify that your printer model appears in the compatible-products list before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the IVR83042 cartridge work in my HP LaserJet 4250DN without firmware issues?

The cartridge is listed as compatible with the HP LaserJet 4250DN and other 4250 series models; it installs like the original Q5942A and requires no firmware update.

How can I verify the IVR83042 is printing at the rated 10000-page yield?

Print a test page and check the printer’s supply-status menu; it will show the cartridge as a 10000-page black toner and track remaining pages at 5% coverage.

Does the IVR83042 box contain only the toner cartridge or are drums and waste bins included?

The package contains a single black toner cartridge (model IVR83042); the drum unit and waste toner bin are separate components already inside the HP LaserJet 4240, 4250 or 4350 printer.
