The Innovera IVRDR420 is a black drum unit built as an aftermarket replacement for the Brother DR420. It fits Brother HL-2220, 2230, 2240/d, 2270dw, 2280dw, MFC-7360n, 7460dn and 7860dw laser printers. Offices and home users who need a new drum for these specific models can install this single-pack cartridge directly.

Rated Yield of 12000 Pages

The cartridge carries an approximate page yield of 12000 pages based on five percent coverage. This single figure determines whether the unit matches the expected print volume for the compatible Brother devices listed. Actual output will vary with machine condition, paper type, humidity and the content printed.

Remanufactured Unit with Quality Certification

The drum is remanufactured and passes a 360 quality certification process to meet the original performance standard. It serves as a direct replacement for the Brother DR420 drum unit without requiring additional parts or modifications. Buyers who need a toner cartridge rather than a drum, or who own printers outside the listed series, cannot use this product.

Questions about this item

How many pages will the 12000-page yield actually last in my Brother HL-2270dw?

The 12000-page estimate is based on 5% coverage; typical office documents with graphics or bold text will reduce the real-world count.

Does the DR420 replacement fit the same slot as the original Brother drum unit?

Yes, the IVRDR420 is built to the same mechanical spec as the Brother DR420 and seats in the drum bay of every listed HL and MFC model.

What physical space does the cartridge need inside the printer?

It matches the Brother DR420 form factor, so it fits the standard drum cavity of the HL-2220, 2230, 2240/d, 2270dw, 2280dw, MFC-7360n, 7460dn and 7860dw without modification.
