HDMI-to-USB converter for BYOM
The Inogeni 4KX-PLUS converts an HDMI camera or source into a USB 3.0 video device for laptops. It supports Ultra HD 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps with an HDMI loop output. No drivers are required on Windows, macOS or Linux. It integrates directly with Cisco Webex BYOM and Barco ClickShare Conference systems.
Meeting rooms using Cisco or Barco
Rooms already equipped with Cisco room kits or Barco ClickShare CX-20, CX-30 and CX-50 units gain native BYOM without extra Cloud Video Interop licences. It also works with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet and BlueJeans. Buyers who need SDI input or NDI network output should look elsewhere because this unit only accepts HDMI.
4K 30 fps capture over USB 3.0
The single specification that decides fit is the maximum capture rate of 4K at 30 frames per second over USB 3.0. If the workflow demands 4K at 50 or 60 fps, this converter cannot meet it. For 1080p workflows the device delivers up to 60 fps with hardware colour-space conversion and Digital Fluid frame buffering.

Questions about this item
How can I verify the 4KX-PLUS is capturing correctly after connecting my HDMI camera and laptop?
Check your meeting software video preview for a live image at up to 3840x2160 at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps; the loop output should simultaneously show the source on a connected display confirming the signal path.
What cables and accessories are included with the 4KX-PLUS and what must I provide?
The box contains the 4KX-PLUS converter and a USB 3.0 cable; you must supply the HDMI source cable, an HDMI display cable for the loop output if used, and any analog audio cables for the I/O ports.
Which capture mode should I choose between 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps for my meeting room setup?
Select 3840x2160 at 30 fps when source detail matters for content sharing or whiteboards; choose 1080p at 60 fps for smoother motion with talking-head cameras or when USB 2.0 fallback limits bandwidth.
