Converts USB cameras and audio to HDMI at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution and 60 fps, supporting MJPEG and YUY2 formats
The Inogeni U-CAM converts USB cameras and audio signals to HDMI output for CODECs, matrixes and displays. It connects USB cameras with or without advanced AI to HDMI inputs, optimizing existing installed assets. The device supports meeting equity by providing high-quality images and sound for all participants. It works with smart applications such as Huddly Canvas for whiteboards.
The converter captures video and audio from both USB 3.0 and 2.0 cameras without requiring additional drivers. It enables connection of Huddly Canvas to Cisco Webex Room Series via HDMI input. AI-powered features including face tracking, body movement recognition, automatic zooming and automatic color and exposure balancing are supported. The unit operates with PC, Linux and Mac systems.
Video conversion handles 2160p, 1080p and 720p resolutions at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 fps. Supported formats include MJPEG and YUY2 for broad camera compatibility. The device runs out of headroom when source cameras exceed 4K resolution or 60 fps frame rates. It is not suited for workflows requiring higher bandwidth video formats or multi-camera switching.
