SKU CH-71EM-SK7W1

Splits 48V PoE into 5V or 12V DC at 24W while passing Gigabit data through two RJ45 ports

  • Gigabit data and 24W power from one cable
  • Powers 5V or 12V devices from 48V PoE
  • Works with 802.3af and 802.3at equipment
  • Silent fanless cooling for desk or wall mount
  • Lightning-protected PoE input safeguards connected gear

PoE Splitter for Gigabit Networks

The Inscape Data PS1030 separates 48V PoE power into 5V or 12V DC at 24W while passing Gigabit data through two RJ45 ports. It accepts both mid-span and end-span wiring and complies with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. Fanless cooling keeps the unit silent on a desk or wall.

Installers Powering Non-PoE Cameras

This adapter suits technicians who need to run a single Ethernet cable to a high-speed dome camera or access point that lacks native PoE. It does not help builders who need more than 24W of output or who require a multi-port switch rather than a single splitter.

Plug-and-Play With Passive Cooling

Connect the PoE source to the input port and the device to the chosen 5V or 12V output; no software configuration is required. The only common issue is exceeding the 24W budget, which will cause the connected device to restart or fail to power on.

Questions about this item

Do I need an IEEE 802.3at PoE switch or injector to power the PS1030?

Yes, the PS1030 requires a 48 V IEEE 802.3at PoE source delivering up to 24 W over the Ethernet cable.

Will the PS1030 pass Gigabit data to a 10/100 Mbps camera while splitting 5 V or 12 V DC power?

The splitter provides two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports, so it forwards Gigabit traffic even if the connected device only negotiates 10/100 Mbps.

How can I confirm the PS1030 is delivering the correct 5 V or 12 V output after installation?

Measure the DC output terminals with a multimeter; the splitter converts the PoE input to either 5 V or 12 V at up to 24 W with no fan noise indicating operation.
