Easy magnetic installation

The INSEETECH backup camera attaches to any metal surface with a strong magnetic base, removing the need for drilling or permanent mounting hardware. It is designed for drivers of trucks, RVs, trailers and boats who want a rear-view aid that can be moved between vehicles in seconds. The 150° viewing angle and adjustable 90° tilt cover a wide area behind the vehicle. Buyers who need a hard-wired system integrated into a factory head unit cannot use this wireless, app-based camera.

Stable WiFi and solar charging

A 2.4G wireless link transmits 1080p video up to 197 ft in open space, which covers vehicles up to 30 ft long during hitching or reversing. The 3000mAh battery runs for up to 365 days on standby and is replenished by the integrated solar panel with just two hours of daily sunlight. USB, plug and car-charger inputs provide backup charging when sunlight is limited. Users who require uninterrupted recording during weeks of heavy overcast without access to any charger will find the solar-only autonomy insufficient.

Rugged IP66 all-weather build

The PC and SPCC housing is rated IP66, making it waterproof, windproof and resistant to impacts encountered on the road or trail. Four infrared LEDs and a smart IR-cut module deliver clear night vision without external lighting. The camera draws 3.7V from its internal pack, so no vehicle wiring is needed for power. Installers who need a camera that operates from a 12V vehicle circuit directly, without relying on an internal battery, should choose a wired alternative.

What phone or tablet must I already own to view the 1080p feed from this camera?
