Rear Telephoto Camera Module

This Nextbase accessory adds a rear-facing camera to compatible dash cameras. It clicks into the side of the front-facing unit for a streamlined installation. The module records the road behind the vehicle with a view similar to a traditional rear-view mirror. It draws power directly from the main dash camera.

30-Degree Field of View

The telephoto lens captures a narrow 30-degree angle, providing detailed distance coverage rather than a wide panorama. This focal length suits highway driving where identifying distant vehicles is the priority. It runs out of peripheral coverage in tight urban junctions or when monitoring adjacent lanes. The fixed perspective cannot be adjusted or widened.

Nextbase Series Compatibility

The camera connects exclusively to the 322GW, 422GW, 522GW and 622GW models through a proprietary side interface. No mount, screen or independent power source is included in the package. Builders needing a stand-alone rear camera or support for other dash camera brands cannot use this module. Expandable memory is not supported by the accessory itself.
