Instapak Quick IQRT45 Foam Bags

These heavy-duty expandable foam bags ship flat and inflate on demand to cushion items during transit. Each bag measures 18 by 20 inches and the pack contains 30 units. They suit shippers who need fast, custom-fit protection for irregular or fragile goods.

Expandable foam limitation

The foam expands to fill voids but cannot be compressed back into its original flat state once activated. Users must size the bag to the carton before triggering the reaction, and the cured foam adds bulk that may increase dimensional weight charges.

Pack quantity 30

The carton supplies exactly 30 bags, so high-volume operations will need multiple cartons to maintain stock. Buyers who ship fewer than 30 parcels per order cycle may find the minimum quantity excessive.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 18x20 inch bags or a different size for my shipment?

These bags measure 18 by 20 inches and come in a pack of 30, so select them when that exact footprint and quantity match your packing station.

How much cushioning does the IQRT45 rating actually give inside a box?

The IQRT45 designation means each bag expands to a heavy-duty foam fill rated at 45, providing substantial void-fill and shock absorption for fragile items.

What sealing method do these expandable foam bags use?

Each bag is self-contained; you simply activate the internal chemicals, place it in the carton, and it expands to form a custom foam cushion without any external dispenser.
