Laminar RM1 air cooler

The Intel Laminar RM1 is an air cooler that combines a heatsink with an integrated fan. It is supplied as an open-box unit from the Laminar series. This cooler is built for standard desktop processor thermal management.

Suited for replacement or basic builds

The open-box condition suits system builders replacing a stock cooler or assembling a budget workstation. Buyers who need a sealed retail package with full manufacturer accessories should consider a new-in-box alternative.

Open-box condition

This specific unit is classified as open-box, meaning the original packaging has been opened. That status is the key detail to verify before purchase, as it differs from a factory-sealed product.

Questions about this item

Will the open-box Intel BXTSRM1 Laminar RM1 cooler need any replacement parts before installation?

The unit is supplied as an open-box item, so check that the fan, heatsink and mounting hardware are all present before fitting it.

What thermal limit appears first when the BXTSRM1 runs continuously?

The cooler relies on its single fan and heatsink to move heat away; sustained loads will be limited by how much heat that assembly can dissipate.

How much noise and heat does the Intel RM1 produce during all-day operation?

The fan-and-heatsink design runs whenever the CPU is under load, so expect continuous airflow and a warm heatsink after extended use.
