15.6" IPS FHD display and Core i5-1135G7

The Intel NUC M15 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a 1920 x 1080 IPS panel and an 11th Gen quad-core processor reaching 4.2 GHz turbo. It ships with 16 GB of LPDDR4x memory and a 1 TB NVMe SSD running Windows 10 Pro. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics drive the non-touch screen. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and HDMI handle wired connections.

Who this suits and who it does not

The configuration fits professionals who need a portable 15.6" device for office applications, video calls and light content creation. The Iris Xe integrated graphics and 16 GB of soldered memory limit buyers who want more graphics performance or user-upgradeable RAM. Casual gamers expecting discrete GPU frame rates or users needing multiple internal drive bays should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: 16 GB soldered LPDDR4x

The 16 GB of LPDDR4x memory is not upgradeable, so the total system memory is fixed for the life of the device. If your workloads regularly exceed this capacity — such as large virtual machines, heavy video timelines or extensive data-science datasets — this laptop will not meet the requirement. Buyers comfortable with 16 GB as a permanent ceiling can proceed; those who need expandability must choose a different platform.

Questions about this item

What Thunderbolt standard do the two ports use, and what display bandwidth does that cap?

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports support DisplayPort Alt Mode for external monitors, limited by the Thunderbolt 4 specification.

What are the chassis dimensions and mounting points for a sleeve or dock?

The 15.6-inch anodized aluminum chassis fits standard 15.6-inch sleeves; no proprietary mounting points are present.

How is the LPDDR4x memory installed, and what mistake do buyers make?

The 16 GB LPDDR4x is soldered and not user-upgradable; buyers often assume a SO-DIMM slot exists.
