Barebone mini PC with Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, Arc graphics, dual DDR5 SO-DIMM slots up to 96 GB, two M.2 NVMe bays, 2.5 GbE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, dual HDMI 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4
Configuration 32G RAM / 1T SSD
The Intel NUC14RVKU5 is a slim barebone mini PC built around the Core Ultra 5 125H processor with 14 cores and 18 threads. It targets developers and small-business users who want a compact platform with an integrated NPU for local AI tasks such as video-conference enhancement. The chassis measures 117 by 112 by 37 millimetres and includes VESA mounting hardware for discreet installation behind a display. Buyers who need a pre-assembled system with memory and storage already installed should look elsewhere.
This unit ships without memory or storage, letting you populate two SO-DIMM slots with DDR5-5600 modules up to 96 gigabytes total and add both a 2280 and a 2242 NVMe SSD. Connectivity covers two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C at 20 gigabits per second, three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, two HDMI 2.1 TMDS outputs, 2.5 gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. A 120 watt 19 volt adapter is included, and the board accepts 12 to 20 volt DC input for alternative power arrangements.
The Arc graphics core runs at 2.2 gigahertz alongside the NPU, sharing the same thermal envelope as the CPU inside the 37 millimetre slim chassis. Under prolonged load the cooling solution must dissipate heat from compute, graphics and AI acceleration simultaneously, so sustained clock speeds will depend on airflow around the VESA-mounted unit. The 120 watt power adapter sets the practical ceiling for combined CPU, GPU and NPU draw during extended workloads such as batch inference or multi-stream encoding.

Other versions of this model
The board has two SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 96 GB of DDR5-5600 memory in dual-channel mode.
The 120 W power adapter and slim 37 mm chassis rely on an internal fan; sustained loads will spin the fan higher, so expect audible airflow and warm exhaust after extended use.
You need at least one M.2 NVMe SSD — either a 2280 PCIe Gen4 x4 or a 2242 PCIe x4 module — because no drive is included.
