This 28-port Gigabit Layer 2+ managed switch provides 24 RJ45 ports and four SFP+ uplink slots for 10G connectivity. It delivers up to 30 watts per PoE+ port with a total 370 watt power budget for connected devices. The unit is designed for rackmount deployment in small to medium enterprise networks.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Store-and-forward switching with a 16K MAC address table and 1.5MB buffer memory handles continuous traffic without head-of-line blocking. Jumbo frame support up to 12KB reduces per-frame overhead on high-throughput links. The PD Alive Check feature automatically restarts any PoE-powered device that stops responding, maintaining service during extended operation.

Upgrade Path

Replaces unmanaged or non-PoE switches where powered endpoints and 10G uplinks are now required. The jump is worthwhile when adding IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones that need both data and power over a single cable.
