Outdoor PoE Extension Kit

The Intellinet Ultra Long Range Outdoor Fast Ethernet PoE+ Extender Kit extends power and data over Cat5e or Cat6 cable up to 1000 m (3280 ft.). It is built for installers who need to reach remote IP cameras or wireless access points beyond standard Ethernet limits. The IP67-rated housing withstands dust and water in temperatures from -10 °C to 55 °C (14 °F to 131 °F).

Build Integration

The kit includes two modules that connect inline without an external power supply, drawing energy directly from the PoE input. An IEEE 802.3bt-compliant source delivering up to 95 W feeds the first unit, while the output remains compatible with 802.3at/af powered devices such as network cameras or VoIP phones. Short-circuit, overload and high-voltage protection safeguard the link.

Sustained Load Behaviour

At 100 Mbps the extender delivers up to 30 W over 300 m (984 ft.), dropping to 15.4 W at 10 Mbps across 800 m (2625 ft.). Data travels the full 1000 m without packet loss, making it reliable for continuous video streams. The 10/100 Mbps rate caps throughput for high-bandwidth applications.
