Black 3-foot power cord with C20 plug and C13 connector

Interex By Tripp-Lite

Interex By Tripp-Lite P032-003 computer power adapter cord 3 ft 12 AWG C13 to C20 15A

SKU CH-QN6T-SFX7Q

Three-foot heavy-duty cord with 12 AWG conductors connects C13 equipment to C20 PDU outlets at 15A

  • Connects C13 equipment to C20 PDU outlets
  • 12 AWG conductors handle 15 A continuous load
  • Three-foot length reduces clutter in dense racks
  • UL listed for verified electrical safety
  • Molded connectors resist wear from repeated insertion

What this cord does

The three-foot P032-003 connects a device with a C13 inlet to a power distribution unit or UPS that provides a C20 outlet. It is built for servers, high-output workstations and network gear that draw enough current to need 12 AWG conductors.

What the heavier gauge changes

Three 12 AWG conductors rated at 15 A reduce voltage drop and heat compared with thinner cords, so attached equipment runs cooler under sustained load. Molded C13 and C20 connectors resist accidental disconnection in dense rack environments.

The rating that decides fit

The 15 A, 12 AWG rating determines whether the cord can handle your equipment’s peak draw; devices needing more current or a different connector pairing will require another cable.

Questions about this item

Will the molded C13 and C20 connectors need replacement after extended use?

The connectors are molded for long-lasting reliable service and have no user-serviceable parts.

What is the maximum continuous current the 12 AWG conductors can carry before heat becomes the limiting factor?

The cord is rated 15A; operating at or below this rating keeps conductor temperature within design limits.

Does the SJT jacket and 12 AWG gauge keep the cord cool and quiet when powering a server all day?

The 12 AWG conductors rated 15A run cooler under load, and the passive cord produces no noise during continuous operation.
