Deluxe Pool Maintenance Kit

The Intex 28003E Deluxe Pool Maintenance Kit is built for owners of above-ground pools who want a complete cleaning set in one box. It includes a 110-inch telescoping aluminum shaft, two vacuum heads, a vacuum body, a deep mesh skimmer net and a wall brush. The kit suits pools with a diameter of 18 feet and above.

Practical limits of the filter-pump interface

The vacuum attaches to the pool outlet connector using a 24 feet 7 inch hose and draws debris through the filter system. Operation requires an Intex filter pump that delivers a minimum flow rate of 800 gallons per hour. Without that flow the vacuum will not generate enough suction to clean the floor effectively.

What this replaces and when the jump is worth it

The kit replaces separate purchases of a pole, vacuum head, skimmer net and brush for routine pool upkeep. The upgrade is worthwhile when you want a single telescopic pole that accepts every included tool and a hose long enough to reach across larger above-ground pools. It does not suit owners who need a self-contained robotic cleaner or a vacuum that works with lower-flow pumps.
