Solar pool cover for 12 ft Intex pools

This solar cover is made for 12-foot Intex Easy Set and Metal Frame round pools. It uses sunlight to warm the water so you can swim earlier and later in the season. Drain holes stop rain from pooling on top. The cover also blocks dirt, insects and debris while reducing evaporation and chemical loss.

Who this suits and who it does not

It suits owners of a 12-foot Intex round pool who want warmer water with less cleaning. It will not fit rectangular, oval or larger round pools. Buyers who need a safety cover that supports weight should look elsewhere. Anyone without a 12-foot Intex round frame cannot use this cover.

Fit limited to 12 ft Intex round frames

The cover is cut to match a 12-foot Intex Easy Set or Metal Frame round pool. That single dimension decides whether it will work for you. Measure your pool diameter before ordering; other sizes or brands will not align correctly.

Questions about this item

What comes with the Intex 28012E 12 ft solar pool cover and what must be purchased separately?

The package includes only the solar cover tarp with drain holes. The 12-foot Intex Easy Set or Metal Frame round pool itself is sold separately.

How do I choose the correct version of the 28012E cover for my pool?

This model is a single 12-foot round size designed to fit both Intex Easy Set and Metal Frame pools of that diameter; no other capacities or versions exist for this MPN.

How much warmer will the water get once the 12-foot solar cover is on the pool?

The cover uses sunlight to raise and retain water temperature, extending the swim season earlier and later, but the exact temperature gain varies with sun exposure and ambient conditions.
