SKU CH-88D9-5YNA9

Splits one HDMI source to two displays at 7680 x 4320 resolution and 60 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth

  • Supports 8K at 60 Hz for ultra-sharp video
  • One HDMI input drives two displays simultaneously
  • HDMI 2.1 compliant for latest device compatibility
  • HDR and 4:4:4 colour sampling deliver lifelike images
  • Metal housing handles up to 48 Gbps bandwidth

One source to two 8K displays

The IOGEAR GHSP8822 splits a single HDMI input into two identical outputs, letting you mirror 7680 x 4320 content at 60 Hz across a pair of screens. It is built for installers or enthusiasts who need to duplicate an 8K signal without scaling or compression.

HDMI 2.1 pathway with 48 Gbps bandwidth

The splitter passes the full HDMI 2.1 link, so the source device negotiates directly with each connected display. No external power supply is mentioned, and the metal enclosure shields the high-speed traces while fitting into tight rack or behind-TV spaces.

HDR and RGB 4:4:4 pass-through

Because the unit maintains the complete 48 Gbps pipe, high-dynamic-range metadata and full 4:4:4 chroma reach both outputs unchanged. The bundled hardware is limited to the splitter itself; no cables, remote or configuration software are included.

Questions about this item

Does the 48 Gbps bandwidth limit the 8K 60 Hz signal to two displays?

The splitter passes a single 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz source to both HDMI outputs using the full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 link.

Does the metal case stay cool during continuous 8K 60 Hz operation?

The metal enclosure acts as a heatsink so the unit runs silently without a fan during all-day use.

What HDMI cables are required for the 8K 60 Hz connection?

Certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables rated for 48 Gbps are needed on the input and both outputs.
