Pair of magnetic Bluetooth speakers

The Ion Audio ISP153 Magnet Rocker ships as a matched pair of compact speakers that snap to any ferrous surface through integrated magnetic backs. Bluetooth streaming lets a phone, tablet or laptop send audio without cables, and the two units link wirelessly to form a stereo pair for wider sound separation. IPX5-rated housings resist jets of water, so the set survives rain, splashes or poolside use.

IPX5 water resistance and battery operation

Sealed driver enclosures meet the IPX5 standard, meaning directed water jets from any angle will not penetrate the electronics during normal outdoor exposure. Each speaker runs from its own internal rechargeable cell, eliminating mains cables while in use and keeping the magnetic mounting surface free of trailing wires. Typical listening volumes remain clear without audible distortion from the sealed cabinets.

Dual-speaker Wireless Stereo-Link

The single specification that decides fit is the Wireless Stereo-Link feature: it bonds the two included units into left and right channels without an app or extra hardware. Buyers who need a single mono speaker, a wired auxiliary input or multi-room grouping across more than two units will not find those functions in this package.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Magnet Rocker speakers on a metal surface?

Each speaker has a magnetic back that snaps onto any ferrous surface — toolbox, golf-cart frame, lawnmower deck, kitchen appliance — so there are no brackets or screws to fit.

What ongoing care does the IPX5 rating require?

Rinse the grille with fresh water after salt or chlorinated exposure, shake out excess moisture, and let the cabinet air-dry before the next use; no seal lubrication or gasket replacement is needed.

At what point does the Wireless Stereo-Link connection become unstable?

The link relies on standard Bluetooth range, so drop-outs typically appear first when the two speakers are separated by more than about ten metres or when heavy RF interference is present.
