Portable PA speaker for performers

The Ion Trouper 100 is a battery-powered portable speaker system built for live use. Its 100-watt output drives a 6-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter for full-range sound. A built-in three-channel mixer with two combo XLR inputs handles microphones and instruments directly. Echo and reverb effects add polish to vocals for busking, karaoke or duets.

Check power and input needs before ordering

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 15 hours of operation away from mains power. Verify that your microphones or instruments use XLR or compatible connectors for the two combo inputs. Ensure your playback devices support Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless streaming. The USB port accepts recorded material on a thumb drive for direct playback.

Integrates into a mobile sound setup

The speaker runs on its internal battery, freeing you from power outlets at outdoor gigs or venues without easy mains access. Two combo XLR inputs let you plug microphones and instruments without a separate mixer. Bluetooth 5.0 and USB playback cover backing tracks and between-set music. A second unit can be linked wirelessly for stereo coverage. The Ion Sound Control App manages FM radio presets and other settings from a phone.

Questions about this item

Does the ION Trouper 100 come with a microphone or do I need to buy one separately?

The speaker includes a rechargeable 15-hour Li-ion battery and accepts microphones or instruments through its two combo XLR inputs on the integrated 3-channel mixer; a microphone itself is not included.

Should I choose this 100-watt model or a smaller version for busking and karaoke?

This 100-watt system with a 6-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter provides the integrated mixer, echo and reverb effects, and 15-hour battery life designed for busking, karaoke and duets.

How far will the Bluetooth 5.0 connection reach when I stream from my phone during a gig?

Bluetooth 5.0 streams audio wirelessly to the speaker; the integrated 3-channel mixer lets you blend that stream with live inputs through the two combo XLR ports.
