20W USB-C Charger for iPad and iPhone

This 20-watt USB-C wall charger ships with a 6.6 ft USB-C to USB-C cable and targets owners of recent iPad and iPhone models that charge through USB-C. It delivers up to 3 amps at 5 volts from a standard North American two-pin plug. The unit is MFi-certified and includes over-current, over-voltage, over-heating and short-circuit protection.

6.6 ft USB-C to USB-C Cable Included

The bundled cable supports rapid charging at 3 amps maximum and data transfer up to 480 Mb/s. Its reversible connectors let you plug in either way, and the two-metre length gives freedom to use the device while it charges. No separate cable purchase is required for USB-C iPad or iPhone models.

Compact Two-Pin Wall Plug Design

The charger uses a fixed North American two-pin plug rated for 240 volts input, so it fits standard wall outlets without an adapter. A single USB-C port keeps the form factor small for travel or desk use. Buyers with Lightning-port iPads or devices that need multiple simultaneous ports should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often should the 6.6 ft USB-C to C cable be replaced under daily use?

The cable is rated for rapid charging at 3 A maximum and data transfer up to 480 Mb/s; replace it if the connectors become loose, the sheath frays, or charging speed drops noticeably.

What limits the 20 W charger during continuous fast-charging sessions?

The charger delivers 20 W at 5 V and 3 A; sustained output is limited by its single USB-C port and the 240 V input rating, so it cannot exceed 20 W regardless of session length.

How much heat or noise does the 20 W wall charger produce when running all day?

The unit has no fan and relies on passive cooling; it stays warm to the touch during prolonged 20 W loads but operates silently with no audible coil whine reported.
