Purpose & Audience

The IQAir 365.0000.02 is an outdoor air quality monitor built for homeowners, researchers and facility managers who need continuous, hyper-local pollution data. It measures PM1, PM2.5, PM10, optional CO2, temperature, humidity, pressure and calculates AQI, sending readings to the AirVisual app and web platform.

Connectivity Limits

The device connects via Wi-Fi, wired LAN or an optional 4G modem stick that requires a separate SIM card and data plan. If the internet link drops, internal memory stores up to two years of readings until the connection is restored. Power is supplied through a 48 V PoE injector and a 12 m (35 foot) cable included in the box.

Pre-Install Checks

Verify that the mounting location has a reachable power outlet or PoE switch for the supplied injector and that the 35 foot cable run is sufficient. Confirm Wi-Fi signal strength or Ethernet access at the chosen spot; if neither is reliable, budget for the optional 4G modem and an active data SIM. Ensure the white weatherproof housing can be secured to a wall or pole using the supplied plate, screws, anchors and UV-resistant cable ties.

Questions about this item

Should I add the optional CO2 module or stick with the pre-installed PM sensors?

The unit ships with two laser PM modules that already give redundant PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 readings; add the CO2 module only if you need carbon-dioxide data alongside the particulate and weather parameters.

What does the PM2.5 reading actually tell me about the air outside my door?

It reports the mass concentration of particles 2.5 micrometres and smaller in micrograms per cubic metre, which the app then converts into a local AQI value so you can see pollution from traffic, smoke or dust in real time.

My router is indoors — can the Ethernet port on the monitor reach it through the 12 m cable?

Yes, the package includes a 12 m (35 foot) PoE cable that carries both data and power, so you can run a single line from an indoor switch or injector straight to the weatherproof housing.
