Ironclad A5 Cut-Resistant Gloves
These Ironclad knit gloves meet ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 for hand protection. They feature an HPPE shell with a double-dipped nitrile coating that covers three-quarters of the hand. A reinforced thumb crotch adds durability in a high-wear area. The 10 inch length provides extended wrist coverage for general-purpose tasks.
ANSI A5 rating and double-dipped nitrile
The A5 cut rating handles moderate to high cut hazards such as sheet metal handling or glass processing. Double-dipped nitrile delivers a secure grip in light oil and dry conditions while resisting abrasion. The palm carries an ANSI/ISEA Needlestick Level 1 rating for limited puncture resistance. Abrasion resistance is not rated, so very rough surfaces may wear the coating faster.
10 inch knit wrist for layering
The 10 inch knit wrist slips under jacket sleeves to keep debris out without taping. HPPE material allows the gloves to be worn as a liner beneath heavier outer gloves when conditions change. Nitrile coating stops short of the cuff, leaving the wrist flexible for repetitive motion. Sold as a single pair in XL size for workers needing that fit.

Questions about this item
Will these A5 cut-resistant gloves fit over the XL mechanics gloves I already use for heavy assembly?
They are sold as a single pair in size XL with a 10-inch length; the knit HPPE shell and 3/4 nitrile coating are designed to be worn alone, not layered over another glove.
How can I confirm the ANSI/ISEA cut level A5 rating is genuine on the pair I receive?
Check the glove back for the printed ANSI/ISEA cut level A5 marking and the Ironclad branding; the double-dipped nitrile coating and reinforced thumb crotch should be visibly intact.
Does the package include any liners or wrist straps, or are those separate purchases?
The box contains one pair of the knit gloves with double-dipped nitrile coating and reinforced thumb crotch; no liners or wrist straps are included.
