Ironclad Cut-Resistant Coated Gloves A4
These Ironclad gloves provide A4 cut resistance on the palm side for tasks involving sharp edges. They feature a seamless knit liner made from HPPE with a nitrile coating for grip and abrasion resistance. The knit cuff holds the glove in place during repetitive hand movements. They meet ANSI 105 and EN 388:2016 standards.
Limits of ANSI A4 and Impact Level 1
The A4 rating protects against moderate cut hazards but is not rated for higher-force blades or puncture risks beyond the tested level. Impact protection meets ANSI/ISEA Level 1 on the back of hand only, leaving fingers and palm unguarded against heavy blows. The nitrile coating resists oils yet offers no chemical permeation barrier. Touchscreen use is not supported.
Check Sizing and Hazard Requirements Before Ordering
Verify that 2XL matches your hand measurements, as an incorrect fit reduces cut protection and dexterity. Confirm your workplace requires A4 cut level and Level 1 impact rating rather than higher categories. Ensure silicone-free construction complies with any surface-contamination rules in your facility. These gloves are unlined and not insulated for cold environments.
