Cut-Resistant Gloves A5 Uncoated
These Ironclad gloves provide ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 protection across the full hand with a full-leather drivers style. They are built for workers who need high cut resistance without a coated palm, offering a bare-hand feel for material handling, fabrication and general industrial tasks. Sold as a left-and-right pair in size XL.
Capacity and Headroom
The A5 rating delivers strong resistance to sharp edges and blades encountered in metalworking, glass handling and assembly work. Heat protection reaches ANSI/ISEA Heat Level 2, rated to a maximum temperature of 284 degrees F for brief contact. The uncoated leather surface preserves tactile sensitivity but offers no liquid barrier or additional hazard protection beyond cut and heat.
Kevlar Stitching and Slip-On Cuff
Seams are stitched with Kevlar thread for durability under stress, while the shirred slip-on cuff allows quick donning and doffing without straps. The wing-thumb design follows the natural hand contour for comfort during extended wear. An HPPE liner adds cut-resistant reinforcement beneath the leather, and the 10 1/32 inch length covers the wrist without restricting forearm movement.

Questions about this item
Will the A5 cut level and full leather coverage hold up when I am handling sharp sheet metal with my older leather palm gloves?
The ANSI/ISEA A5 rating and full leather coverage give you high cut resistance across the entire hand, so they can replace older palm-only gloves for sheet-metal work.
How can I verify the Kevlar stitching and HPPE liner are performing after I start using them?
Inspect the seams for intact yellow Kevlar thread and check that the HPPE liner shows no pulled fibres or thinning after a shift; both indicate the A5 protection is still active.
Does the pair include any coating or insulation, or do I need to buy a separate liner for cold environments?
The gloves are sold as an uncoated, non-insulated pair with a shirred slip-on cuff, so a separate thermal liner would be needed for cold conditions.
