Ironclad XL Mechanics Gloves
These Ironclad gloves are built for mechanics who need reliable hand protection during daily workshop tasks. The synthetic leather palm provides grip and abrasion resistance while the nylon back with neoprene rubber knuckle protection guards against impacts. An XL size with a hook-and-loop cuff secures the fit for a range of hand shapes. They are supplied new and ready for immediate use.
EN 407 Contact Heat Not Rated
The product data confirms that EN 407 contact heat levels are not applicable, meaning these gloves are not certified for thermal hazards. Maximum temperature resistance is also listed as not applicable, so they should not be used for handling hot components or welding work. Buyers who need certified heat protection must select a different glove rated to the relevant standard.
Hook-and-Loop Cuff Secure Fit
Installation is as simple as pulling the glove on and tightening the hook-and-loop cuff strap for a snug, secure fit. The single-layer palm and unlined interior keep dexterity high for detailed mechanical work. A common issue occurs if the cuff strap catches on sharp edges or debris, which can loosen the closure during heavy use.

Questions about this item
How do I choose the right size when only XL is listed?
The product is offered in a single XL size. Check your hand circumference against the manufacturer's sizing chart to confirm the fit before ordering.
What does the EN 407 rating mean for heat protection in a workshop?
The gloves carry no EN 407 contact-heat level, so they are not rated for thermal hazards and should not be used for handling hot parts.
How does the hook-and-loop cuff perform during repetitive tasks?
The hook-and-loop cuff provides an adjustable, secure closure that stays fastened while you work and can be released quickly when needed.
