Compatible Storage Tray for BPU Enclosures

The iStarUSA BPU-HSTRAY-BLACK is an aluminium handled tray designed to fit BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA and T-7M1-SATA enclosures. It measures 6.50" x 4.50" x 1.00" and carries RoHS compliance. The tray ships new and contains no drive bays of its own.

Suits BPU Chassis Owners Only

This accessory is intended for administrators who already operate one of the listed BPU or T-7M1-SATA units and require a spare or replacement tray. Buyers using different chassis brands or form factors cannot install this tray. The product serves no purpose without a compatible host enclosure.

Fits BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA.

The single deciding specification is the explicit compatibility list: BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA and T-7M1-SATA. If your enclosure model is not on that list, the tray will not fit. No other mounting pattern or interface is supported.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminum tray itself generate noise, heat or draw power during continuous operation?

The tray is a passive aluminum component with no moving parts, so it produces no noise, adds negligible heat and draws zero power.

Which iStarUSA enclosures must I already own for this BPU-HSTRAY-BLACK tray to fit?

It is designed for the BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA and T-7M1-SATA models only.

Will the tray work with older SATA drives I already have installed in those enclosures?

Yes, the tray simply holds any standard SATA drive that the host enclosure already supports.
