Compatible enclosures

The lockable tray fits BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA and T-7M1-SATA units. It provides a secure drive carrier for those specific backplanes. Builders using other enclosures cannot install this tray.

Red aluminium handle

The coloured handle gives a clear visual cue when identifying drives in a dense rack. Its lockable latch secures the carrier without extra tools. The tray ships without drive-mounting hardware, so screws must be sourced separately.

RoHS compliant construction

The tray meets RoHS requirements for restricted substances. Dimensions are 4.50 inches wide, 1.00 inch high and 6.50 inches deep. Standard drive bays are not included, so the carrier relies on the host backplane for drive alignment and power.

Questions about this item

Does the aluminum handle or lock mechanism need periodic lubrication?

The tray is a passive aluminum component with no moving parts that require lubrication or scheduled maintenance.

Will the 1.00-inch height restrict airflow in a fully populated BPU-350SATA chassis?

The tray matches the bay height exactly, so it does not add extra obstruction; airflow depends on the chassis fan configuration.

Does the tray itself generate any heat or noise during continuous operation?

The tray has no electronics, fans or moving parts, so it produces zero noise and no heat of its own.
