Coloured SAS/SATA Drive Trays

This pack supplies hot-swap trays with red silver and blue handles for SAS and SATA hard drives. The aluminium handles aid heat dissipation while the balance design prevents skew during insertion or removal. Each tray is colour coded to simplify drive identification in multi bay enclosures.

Server Builders Needing Visual Drive Management

The trays suit administrators who want instant visual separation of arrays or tiers in a hot swap chassis. Environments that require a uniform single colour or a different handle material should look at other options.

Three Colour Handle Set Identifies Drives Instantly

The red silver and blue handles are the key specification that determines whether this pack matches your labelling scheme. No other colour combination is included in this package.

Questions about this item

How often should I replace the aluminum handles on these hot-swap trays?

The aluminum handles are built into each tray and have no moving parts, so they do not wear out under normal hot-swap use.

What stops me from adding more drives once all tray slots are full?

The chassis backplane slot count limits expansion; each tray occupies one SAS or SATA hot-swap bay.

Do the colored handles make any noise or add heat during all-day operation?

The handles are passive aluminum with no fans or motors, so they produce zero noise and only help dissipate existing drive heat.
