Aluminium Handled Lockable Tray

The iStarUSA BPU-HSTRAY-SILVER is a silver aluminium handled tray designed for server environments. It provides a lockable mechanism to secure the unit within compatible enclosures. The tray measures 4.50" x 1.00" x 6.50" and meets RoHS compliance standards. No standard drive bays are included with this accessory.

For BPU and T-7M1 SATA Enclosures

This tray fits the BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA and T-7M1-SATA models from the same manufacturer. Builders using different enclosures or those needing a tray without a locking handle should look at something else. The aluminium construction and silver finish match the aesthetics of these specific units. It has been available since 2011.

Lockable Tray Compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the explicit compatibility list naming the four SATA enclosure models. If your chassis is not one of those four, the tray will not mount correctly. The lockable handle and aluminium build are secondary to this requirement. Always verify the enclosure model before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the tray is seated and locked correctly after installation?

When the tray slides fully into the BPU-230SATA, BPU-340SATA, BPU-350SATA or T-7M1-SATA chassis, the lock engages with an audible click and the silver handle sits flush against the front panel.

What is included in the package and what must be purchased separately?

The box contains the lockable aluminum tray with integrated silver handle; drive screws, mounting rails, SATA cables and the compatible BPU or T-series enclosure are not included.

Which tray version should I select for my BPU-340SATA unit?

Choose the BPU-HSTRAY-SILVER model — it is explicitly listed as compatible with BPU-340SATA as well as BPU-230SATA, BPU-350SATA and T-7M1-SATA.
