It accepts Intel Xeon E-2100 processors and targets edge deployments that need dense compute in a standard rack footprint. Zinc-coated steel construction suits data-centre or industrial environments.

Expansion layout shapes add-in options

One PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x8 slot and one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot provide room for accelerators, network cards or storage controllers. Eight SATA3 6Gb/s ports from the C246 chipset support up to eight drives; SATA0 shares bandwidth with an M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 connection. Rear I/O includes four USB 3.0 ports, three RJ45 jacks and a VGA connector driven by the ASPEED AST2500 with 32MB DDR4 video memory.
