Center Support Bar for D Storm 2U

The iStarUSA DD-200-R2U-BAR is a metal center support bar designed specifically for the D Storm 2U chassis when equipped with a redundant power supply. It adds structural rigidity across the mid-section of the enclosure. The bar measures 2.60 by 7.50 by 0.80 inches and includes no drive bays.

Suited for D Storm 2U redundant builds

This accessory suits technicians assembling or maintaining a D Storm 2U system that uses redundant power supplies and requires the manufacturer's specified center reinforcement. It is not for builders using a different chassis model, a non-redundant power supply configuration, or anyone needing drive-mounting hardware.

Simple screw-in installation

Installation typically involves aligning the bar with pre-drilled chassis holes and securing it with screws. The main issue arises when the bar is fitted to an incompatible chassis variant or a single-PSU layout where the mounting points do not match. Verify the exact D Storm 2U redundant model before fitting.
