4U Aluminium Bezel for D Storm Chassis

The iStarUSA DD-400-SE-BLACK is a black aluminium front bezel built to fit the D Storm 4U server chassis. It attaches to the front of the enclosure to provide a clean, professional appearance in rack environments. The panel measures 7.50" wide, 6.10" high and .80" deep and carries RoHS compliance. No drive bays are included in this accessory.

Suits D Storm 4U owners only

This bezel is made specifically for the iStarUSA D Storm 4U chassis line, so it aligns with that mounting pattern and front aperture. Builders using a different 4U case, a 2U or 3U enclosure, or any non-iStarUSA chassis will find the holes and dimensions do not match. Buyers who need integrated drive bays, filter panels or a different colour should look at other front-panel options.

4U form factor decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 4U form factor combined with the D Storm chassis designation. Only enclosures explicitly built to the D Storm 4U front-panel template will accept this bezel; all other server cases require a different part.

Questions about this item

Does the bezel itself add any heat or noise to a D Storm 4U chassis running continuously?

The aluminium bezel is a passive front panel with no fans or electronics, so it contributes zero heat or noise during all-day operation.

What chassis must I already own for this bezel to fit and function?

It is designed specifically for iStarUSA D Storm 4U chassis and mounts to the front of those cases.

What is the first physical constraint I hit when installing this bezel in a rack?

The 4U height and 7.50" x 6.10" face dimensions determine whether it clears adjacent rack rails and cable managers.
