Product Identity

The iStarUSA TC-RPSL20 is a 20-inch sliding rail kit built from 1.2mm SECC steel for rackmount chassis. It fits cabinets between 22 and 31 inches deep and extends from 20 to 37 inches with a 12-inch L-shape bracket.

Fit and Limits

Suits administrators mounting standard servers in mid-depth racks who need solid ball-bearing slides and three-stage temporary locking. Not suited for cabinets shallower than 22 inches or deeper than 31 inches, nor for equipment exceeding the 85 lbs load rating.

Sustained Behaviour

Solid ball-bearing rails maintain smooth travel during repeated insertions and the three-stage lock holds position under continuous vibration. The 1.2mm steel frame resists flex when supporting up to 85 lbs for extended periods in a 24 to 31 inch cabinet.

Questions about this item

What depth rack cabinet do I need so the 20" to 37" adjustable rails fit?

The rails mount in cabinets from 22" to 31" deep, with the sliding section extending to 37" for server access.

Will my existing 12" L-shape brackets line up with the new rail kit?

The kit includes 12" L-shape brackets that match the same mounting pattern used on most rackmount chassis.

How can I confirm the ball-bearing slides are holding the rated load after installation?

Extend the rails fully — three temporary lock positions should engage cleanly — then verify the server sits level without sag at up to 85 lbs.
