9U Wall-Mount Cabinet for Shallow-Depth Gear

This iStarUSA WMZ955-SFH40 is a 9U wall-mounted server cabinet designed for equipment 16 inches deep or less. It suits small offices, branch locations or edge deployments where floor space is unavailable and rack-mount gear must be secured on a wall. The swing-out frame gives clear rear access for cabling and maintenance without removing the unit from the wall. A 2U supporting tray is included for non-rackmount devices.

Passive Ventilation with Optional Dual AC Fans

The enclosure uses a welded SPCC cold-roll steel frame with perforated panels for natural airflow. Two 120 mm 120 V AC fans can be added on the top panel using part WA-FANAC120 when active cooling is required. Cable entry is provided through top, bottom and rear tunnels to keep runs orderly. The strengthened glass front door locks for physical security while allowing visual status checks.

Replaces Floor-Standing Racks Where Depth Is Limited

This cabinet replaces a full-height rack when only shallow chassis are deployed and floor footprint must be eliminated. The jump is worthwhile when the installed equipment fits within the 15.5 inch maximum post-to-post depth and the 130 lb weight capacity covers the load. It is not suited for deeper servers, high-density blade systems or installations that exceed the 9U vertical space.
