135W 20V adapter for Lenovo laptops

This 135-watt AC adapter delivers 20 volts at 6.75 amps to compatible Lenovo ThinkPad, Legion and IdeaPad models. It replaces the original 90-watt and 135-watt chargers supplied with those notebooks. The unit includes a six-foot AC cord and a six-foot DC cord for extended reach. It is sold new and ready for immediate use.

Replaces 90W and 135W chargers only

The adapter substitutes genuine Lenovo 45-watt, 65-watt, 90-watt and 135-watt units without issue. It does not replace 170-watt, 180-watt or 230-watt adapters required by higher-power configurations. Buyers whose laptops ship with those larger bricks must keep the original charger. The jump is worth it only when the factory supply is 135 watts or less.

Slim tip and long cords ease installation

A slim plug tip matches the DC jack on listed models and the combined twelve-foot cable length removes the need for extension leads. The ruggedised case resists moisture and humidity during travel. The only common problem is selecting this 135-watt unit for a system that demands 170 watts or more, which will not provide sufficient power.

Questions about this item

What size is the plug tip on this 135W adapter?

The adapter uses a slim plug tip designed for Lenovo ThinkPad, Legion and IdeaPad models that accept a 20V 6.75A connection.

Which step do people miss when installing this 135W charger?

Connect the 6 ft 3-prong AC cord to the wall, then the 6 ft DC cord to the adapter, and finally the slim tip to the laptop — skipping the DC-to-adapter link leaves the unit unpowered.

When should the 6 ft AC power cord be replaced?

Replace the UL-listed 3-prong cord if the plug blades bend, the insulation cracks, or the cord becomes loose at the adapter inlet after repeated coiling.
