Purpose and fit

This 135 W AC adapter powers the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme 2nd Gen and the specific 20MF and 20QV sub-models listed by the supplier. It replaces the original 135 W and 90 W chargers but does not replace 170 W or 230 W units. Buyers who need a higher-wattage supply for other ThinkPad models should look elsewhere.

Installation notes

The package includes a UL-listed 6 ft AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord, giving plenty of reach without an extension lead. A slim plug tip fits the X1 Extreme 2nd Gen jack; verify the tip shape against the product image before ordering. No drivers or configuration are required — simply connect the cords and plug into mains power.

Deciding specification

The adapter delivers 20 V at 6.75 A for a total of 135 W output. Match these exact voltage, current and power figures to the label on your original charger; if your laptop requires 170 W or 230 W this unit will not meet the demand.
