Compatible ThinkPad models

This 135W AC adapter fits Lenovo ThinkPad T440p, T460p and T470p laptops including the 20AN, 20AW, 20FW, 20FX and 20J6 series. It delivers 20V at 6.75A through a slim plug tip designed for these machines. The unit replaces original Lenovo 135W and 90W chargers for the listed models. A UL listed 6 ft AC cord and 6 ft DC cord give extra reach without extension leads.

Replaces 135W and 90W chargers

The adapter serves as a direct replacement for Lenovo 135W and 90W power supplies used with the compatible ThinkPad models. It does not replace 170W or 230W adapters, so the jump is only worth it when your original charger falls in the 90W to 135W range. The 12-month replacement warranty and 30-day money-back period cover the swap. Built-in overload, short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection maintain safe operation.

Users with T440p T460p T470p

This suits owners of the specified ThinkPad models who need a new 135W or 90W power supply and want the longer combined cord length. Buyers whose laptops require a 170W or 230W adapter should look at a higher-wattage unit instead. The slim tip will not fit models that use a different connector size. No other laptop families are supported by this adapter.

Questions about this item

What plug tip size does the 135W adapter use for the ThinkPad T440p, T460p and T470p?

The adapter has a slim plug tip designed for the 20V 6.75A DC input on those models.

How do I install the 135W adapter and what step is often missed?

Connect the 6 ft UL-listed AC cord to the brick, then the 6 ft DC cord to the laptop; the step often missed is seating the slim tip fully until it clicks.

When will the 135W adapter need replacement?

Replace it if the 20V 6.75A output becomes unstable, the cords show wear, or the brick no longer powers the T440p, T460p or T470p reliably.
