Replacement 150 W AC adapter

This iTekiro AC adapter delivers 150 W at 20 V and 7.5 A through a 4.5 mm barrel plug with a centre pin. It is built as a direct replacement for the original charger supplied with compatible Asus Creator and workstation laptops.

4.5 mm centre-pin connector

The single specification that determines fit is the 4.5 mm diameter tip with an internal centre pin. Only laptops that use this exact plug geometry will connect securely and negotiate the correct voltage.

Works with listed Asus models

The unit ships with a 6 ft AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord, so it reaches distant outlets without an extension lead. It accepts 100–240 V input for worldwide use and includes overload, short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection. Buyers whose laptops require a different plug size or a higher wattage rating cannot use this adapter.

Questions about this item

How does the 150 W rating translate to actual charging performance?

The adapter delivers up to 150 W at 20 V and 7.5 A, matching the original charger’s maximum output so the laptop can run at full load while the battery charges.

What does the 4.5 mm centre-pin connector limit in practice?

The 4.5 mm barrel with a centre pin fits only Asus models that use this exact tip; it will not connect to laptops requiring a different diameter or pin arrangement.

What clearance does the 6 ft DC cable and brick need behind the laptop?

The 6 ft DC cord plus the adapter body require enough rear space for the brick to sit on the desk or floor without bending the connector sharply at the laptop port.
