It delivers 19.5V at 7.7A through a 5.5 mm plug tip without a center pin. The package includes a 6 ft UL listed 3-prong AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord for flexible placement.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The adapter is rated for 150W maximum output and accepts 100 to 240V input at 50 to 60Hz for worldwide use. Built-in overload, short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protections maintain stable delivery during extended charging sessions. A durable sealed case resists water and humidity while preserving high power efficiency.

Upgrade Context

This unit replaces MSI 150W and 120W chargers but does not replace 180W or 230W adapters required by higher-power configurations. Buyers whose laptops ship with an 180W or 230W brick should not use this model. It suits owners of the listed GP62 and GP72 variants needing a direct 150W replacement.
