Compatible ThinkPad P17 Models

It replaces the original 135W and 170W Lenovo chargers. The unit delivers 20V at 8.5A for up to 170W output.

Suitable and Unsuitable Buyers

This adapter suits owners of the listed ThinkPad P17 units who need a direct replacement for a 135W or 170W power supply. It also works worldwide on 100–240V mains. Buyers whose P17 requires a 230W or 300W charger must look elsewhere, as this model does not support those higher-wattage configurations.

Deciding Specification

The critical figure is the 170W maximum output at 20V and 8.5A. If your ThinkPad P17 shipped with a 135W or 170W adapter, this unit matches the required power. If the original charger is rated 230W or 300W, this adapter will not provide sufficient power for that system.
