Car charger for LG 15Z90N and 16U70R

This 65W DC car charger powers compatible LG laptops from a 12-24V vehicle outlet. It replaces 40W, 48W and 65W AC adapters with a single 19V 3.42A output. The unit is built for drivers who need to run or charge their notebook while on the road.

Practical limits of 12-24V input and 19V output

The adapter accepts DC input between 12V and 24V and delivers up to 65W at 19V. It cannot operate from a standard AC mains socket and will not suit laptops that require a different voltage or higher wattage. The 2.1A minimum output means very low-power devices may not charge correctly.

Installation notes and common issues

Plug the barrel into the car cigarette lighter socket and connect the right-angle DC tip to the laptop. The 90-degree connector reduces strain on the power jack. A short-circuit or over-temperature fault will shut the unit down until the condition clears. The 4.33in body and long cord reach most seating positions but may not stretch to rear seats in larger vehicles.
