It plugs into a 12 to 24 volt vehicle outlet and supplies up to 65 watts to run the notebook and charge its battery while driving. The right-angle DC connector reduces strain on the laptop power jack. It replaces LG 40 watt, 48 watt and 65 watt adapters.

Input Voltage Limits

The adapter accepts DC input from 12 to 24 volts, so it works in standard cars and many commercial vehicles. It cannot operate from a household AC socket or from aircraft power systems without a separate inverter. Output is fixed at 19 volts DC with a maximum current of 3.42 amps. The unit includes short-circuit and over-temperature protection.

Installation Notes

Connect the plug to the vehicle cigarette-lighter socket, then attach the right-angle tip to the laptop. The long power cord lets you position the adapter conveniently. The smart LED indicator confirms power flow. The charger is not an original LG part and will not fit laptops outside the listed gram 13.3 inch models.
