Car Charger for LG Gram 17-inch

This iTekiro car charger powers compatible LG gram 17-inch laptops from a vehicle 12 to 24 V DC outlet. It delivers 19 V at up to 3.42 A for a maximum of 65 W, replacing original 40 W, 48 W and 65 W adapters. The unit weighs 9.7 oz and measures 4.33 by 1.69 by 1.18 inches.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Built-in short-circuit and over-temperature protection keep the adapter stable during continuous charging sessions. A smart LED indicator shows power status while the circuitry consumes less power to maintain efficiency. The right-angle DC connector reduces stress on the laptop jack during extended use.

Installation and Common Issues

Plug the barrel into the car cigarette lighter socket and connect the right-angle tip to the laptop; the long cord allows flexible positioning. Buyers who need an AC wall adapter cannot use this DC-only device. The connector polarity is fixed, so laptops requiring a different tip size or voltage are not supported.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 19V 65W car charger produce when powering a laptop continuously on a long drive?

The adapter has no fan and runs silently. It includes over-temperature protection that shuts it down if the case gets too hot, so extended use stays within safe thermal limits.

What must my vehicle provide for this charger to operate?

A 12–24V DC cigarette-lighter socket is required; the unit plugs directly into that outlet and draws up to 3.42A to deliver 19V at 65W.

Will the right-angle DC tip fit the charging port on my older LG gram 17Z95N without stressing the jack?

Yes. The 90-degree elbow connector matches the gram 17Z95N port and reduces strain on both the laptop jack and the adapter cable during use.
