Compatible Lenovo ThinkPad T15g Charger

This 230W AC adapter is designed for Lenovo ThinkPad T15g models including the 20UR series. It supplies 20V at 11.5A to match the original charger specifications. The slim plug tip fits the laptop power port securely. It replaces 170W and 230W Lenovo adapters.

Power Delivery And Limits

The adapter delivers 230W of continuous output for demanding workloads. It will not support systems that require 280W, 300W, 330W or 400W chargers. Buyers needing higher wattage for larger workstations should verify their laptop's power requirement before purchase.

20V 11.5A Output Specification

The single deciding specification is the 20V 11.5A output that provides exactly 230W. If your ThinkPad T15g original charger matches these ratings, this adapter is the correct replacement. A different voltage or current rating means this unit will not work.

Questions about this item

Will this 230 W adapter run my ThinkPad T15g if I keep the older 170 W brick as a spare?

Yes, it replaces Lenovo 170 W and 230 W chargers, so the T15g will draw the power it needs while the 170 W unit remains a compatible backup.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering 20 V at 11.5 A after I plug it in?

The unit includes overload, short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protections; a steady charge LED on the ThinkPad and no error message in Lenovo Vantage indicate correct operation.

Does the box contain both the 6 ft AC cord and the 6 ft DC cord, or must I buy one separately?

Both a UL-listed 6 ft 3-prong AC power cord and a 6 ft DC power cord are included, so no extra cables are required.
