240 W 20 V AC Adapter for Asus Laptops

This iTekiro AC adapter delivers 240 W at 20 V and 12 A for compatible Asus models including FA507 and FA617 series. It features a 6.0 mm diameter barrel tip with a centre pin and replaces original 180 W, 200 W, 230 W and 240 W chargers. The unit includes a UL-listed 6 ft AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord for extended reach. It is supplied new and ready for immediate use.

Suitable for Owners of Listed Asus Models

Buyers with an Asus laptop matching the FA507 or FA617 part numbers in the compatibility list can use this adapter as a direct replacement. It is not for users whose device requires a 280 W, 300 W or 330 W power supply, as the 240 W output will be insufficient. It also does not fit laptops that use a different barrel size or a USB-C power input. Anyone needing higher wattage or a different connector should look elsewhere.

Verify Tip Size and Wattage Before Ordering

Confirm that your laptop uses a 6.0 mm barrel connector with a centre pin by checking the original charger tip or the service manual. Ensure the original adapter is rated 240 W or lower — 180 W, 200 W or 230 W units are covered, but 280 W and above are not. Check that the voltage label on your old charger reads 20 V. Only order when all three details match.

Questions about this item

Does my Asus laptop need a 6.0 mm centre-pin barrel connector for this adapter to fit?

Yes — the adapter terminates in a 6.0 mm plug with a centre pin that matches the listed FA507 and FA617 models.

Can I use this 240 W adapter on an Asus model that originally shipped with a 180 W or 230 W brick?

It replaces 180 W, 200 W and 230 W units for the compatible FA507 and FA617 series, but it does not replace 280 W, 300 W or 330 W adapters.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering 20 V at 12 A after I connect it?

The laptop’s battery indicator should show charging at full speed and the power LED on the adapter remains steady without triggering overload or over-temperature protection.
