19V 2.37A output specification

The charger delivers 19VDC at 2.37A for a maximum of 45W from a 12-24V vehicle socket. This exact output matches the listed Acer models; laptops needing a different voltage or higher wattage will not charge correctly or may be damaged.

Right-angle DC plug and protections

A 90-degree elbow connector reduces stress on the laptop power jack and the adapter tip. Built-in short-circuit and over-temperature protection cut power during faults. The 3.94-inch body with a long cord reaches rear seats easily. No AC wall plug is included so home charging requires a separate adapter.

Questions about this item

What does the 45W output actually deliver to my Acer laptop in the car?

It supplies 19V at 2.37A, matching the original 40W or 45W Acer adapter so the laptop runs and charges the battery while you drive.

What input voltage range does the car charger accept from the vehicle socket?

The unit works on any 12V to 24V DC cigarette-lighter outlet, covering both standard cars and larger vehicles.

Will the right-angle DC plug and 3.94-inch body fit my Acer A515-51 or A517-51 without blocking nearby ports?

The 90-degree elbow reduces strain on the power jack, and the compact 3.94" x 1.57" x 1.18" housing weighs only 8.7 oz, leaving adjacent ports clear.
