USB-C AC Adapter for HP 12 Series

This 65 W USB-C power supply is built for HP 12-inch models such as the 12-ab010nr, 12-b010nr and 12-f000nf. It delivers adjustable voltage from 5 V up to 20 V at a maximum of 3.25 A. The unit ships with a 6 ft AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord for flexible placement.

Power Delivery Voltage Range

The adapter negotiates 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V output to match the connected device. It replaces original 45 W, 65 W and 90 W HP chargers but cannot supply a 100 W unit. Input accepts 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz for worldwide use.

Sustained Load Behaviour

High efficiency circuitry maintains continuous power without throttling during long work sessions. Internal protection filters input surges and limits output voltage or current to shield the laptop. A ruggedised case resists moisture and humidity in mobile environments.

Questions about this item

What does the 65 W rating deliver on a compatible HP laptop?

It supplies up to 65 W through USB-C Power Delivery at 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V with a maximum current of 3 A to 3.25 A, matching the device's own voltage requirement.

Which charging standard does the USB-C connector use and what does it limit?

The adapter follows the USB Power Delivery specification, so output is capped at 20 V and 3.25 A, giving a 65 W ceiling for any attached laptop.

How much physical reach do the two cables give for desk or outlet placement?

A 6 ft UL-listed 2-prong AC cord plus a 6 ft DC cord to the USB-C plug provides 12 ft total reach without an extension lead.
